Bantul, July - August 2022
Dear fellow readers! This writing will represent the long story of the journey of KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Batch 108 in 2022.
Hello there! I'm Yustina, a seventh-semester student in the library science undergraduate study program. Meanwhile, at the time of the previous study, we (all students) were required to carry out this KKN Program. I also chose the regular selection by considering the location in the province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In addition to being quite close, this also aims to save expenses during the service period. The 47 days ended in relief and I also carried out the KKN exam at the end of the short semester.

I was excited waiting for this one. Why? the answer was subjective. Yes! Because I want to stay outside for a long time, perhaps. WKWKWK. Okay, so I was looking forward that the KKN program will run quite busy - full of working hours. On the other hand, during this activity, I took part in the scholarship selection (thank God I passed this one alhamdulillah). Then I also took part in an internship as a graphic design and social media admin at the Center Entrepreneurship and Career Development Center (CENDI) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. It was precise during this KKN period that the internship task was so dense. Despite the hectic situation, I hope I could distract myself from the "pain" for a while :)

Next, let's continue the story! The place where my KKN was held in a village called Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul. I learned a lot, especially how to live in a community - as one of my provisions when I join the professional work later. The meeting with my friends in the same group was also quite unique with all impromptu LOL. I also knew my friend - Rima - as a collaborative KKN student from UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. I learned many things from her. We told about the world of literacy and education. I met my other friends with their cheerful, quiet, creative, intelligent, and out-of-the-box characters, for sure.

The members of the KKN group were 12 students. Besides, there was one field supervisor lecturer from LPPM UIN SUKA. It didn't take me long to mingle with them - considering the obligations of KKN duties that had to be carried out immediately. The KKN period this time, in my opinion, was quite a bit, that other campuses are quite long. But I was grateful because, with these limitations, I quickly learned to adapt - to understand the character of the local community. In the first week, we made observations by visiting village officials (stakeholders) and seeing the potential that we would develop later. After the first week, my friends and I immediately formed a work program - which was also discussed with the field supervisor lecturer (in Bahasa we say, DPL or Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan).

The work programs that we have carried out have the themes of education, religion, society, environment, and culture. The unique thing that I experienced was when I rusted with being a flag-raising officer at the 77th independence ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia. It took place in the front yard of our KKN post. Salma and I, we were trained to be good flag raisers. We practiced almost every night - the two weeks' upcoming Independence Day. This event made me miss my high school memories - the last time I attended the ceremony. Anyway, this is my documentation when I was being a flag raiser. Quite simple but gives a lot of meaning!

I wanna thank all those who have worked hard and tried to give their best for this village. I also apologize if during the implementation of the KKN Program there were many obstacles. I hope that with or without our presence, the KKN location - village - will always grow and develop rapidly according to the vision and mission itself. What a wonderful 47 days! It changed my life. By the way, my friends and I didn't only focus on work programs, but we also occasionally hang out. So this is the documentation when we visited Kembang Soka, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. Finally, I'm Yustina would like to make the last line - a sentence to his story. Goodbye, all!
